Consider the hero who finds a lost wallet and goes through a lot of trouble to find its owner.
"I slipped and fell on some ice while walking through Central Park, and didn't notice until later that the fall made my wallet fall out of my purse. The next morning, a woman found the wallet with her husband and they spent the whole weekend tracking me down so they could give it back to me. Everything down to the single dollar I had was still there. Thank you, wonderful wallet-saving couple!"

"Once in college, I was a dollar short on my breakfast sandwich and the nice elderly business man behind me paid for it and insisted I get a coffee and something sweet to go with it. I asked him if I could pay him back later, or buy his breakfast another morning if we happened to be at the coffee cart at the same time - but he insisted that I not worry about it. And if I really wanted to do something, just to pay it forward. That chocolate donut put a smile on face all day, thank you nice coffee man!"
