But did you know that the average bridesmaid spends a whopping $1,700 total to be part of a wedding?
That cost includes the bridesmaid dress, hair, makeup, the bachelorette party, the bridal shower, plus the bridal shower and wedding gifts! The typical bride asks 4 to 5 people to be in the bridal party — all of whom likely have different incomes and financial situations — so $1,700 is a pretty big ask.
