Meet Mongolarachne jurassica. This extinct species is the largest fossilized spider ever found.
The first specimen was described in 2011. The second was described in 2013. The one on the left is a male and the one on the right is a female.

There are only two known specimens. Both are about 160 million years old and lived during the time of the dinosaurs. They were buried by volcanic ash.
