Geico's "Unskippable" Ad Is So Weird And Wonderful

“You can’t skip this Geico ad, because it’s already over.”

To fight the instant urge YouTubers have to skip advertisements after the allotted five seconds have passed, Geico just created an "unskippable" ad, which is probably one of the best and weirdest things you'll ever see.

The ad essentially starts off with the conclusion of a story as a mother tells her family not to thank her, but "thank the savings," followed by a freeze frame with a voiceover proclaiming, "You can't skip this Geico ad, because it's already over."

But it's not over. In fact, it gets way better as the family dog pops into frame, taking advantage of the "frozen" situation.

The absurdity of it all matched with the reckless dog and the family fighting to stay still makes for one hell of a commercial that you actually WANT to watch.
