The incident occurred on New Year’s Eve, and the officers are currently on the run.
A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two police constables in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday, December 31.
Two policemen have been suspended in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly gang-raping a 14-year-old girl.
According to NDTV , the girl's family explained that the two constables dragged her into a room and raped her, after they saw her leave her house on the night of Wednesday. The mother filed a complaint with the police, and an investigation is allegedly underway. The police report that the men are missing at the moment.
"We looked for her everywhere when she did not return. At about midnight she came back and told us about the incident," said the teenager's mother, in the NDTV report.

Badaun, Uttar Pradesh has been in the news over the last year, after two cousins were found hanging from a tree after being raped. Although since then the CBI has filed a report stating that all evidence pointed to suicide.
